Against the Belgrade sponsored 6 point plan for deployment of EULEX
This site would like to express its disagreement at the Belgrade sponsored 6 point plan for deployment of EULEX and disappointment that some members of the European Union have shown support for the very idea that could divide Kosovar society.
It is the firm belief of this site that the Belgrade sponsored 6 point plan for deployment of EULEX goes against the concept of multi-ethnicity, a concept that the international community has requested to be fulfilled as one of the standards for the provisional institutions of Kosovo before February 17th, 2008, and a concept that is enshrined in the Constitution of Republic of Kosovo. The Belgrade sponsored 6 point plan for deployment of EULEX also infringes and disrespects the Former President Ahtisaari’s plan for solving the Kosovar conflict after years of negotiations and compromise from the Kosovar side to reach a peaceful solution.
The Ahtisaari plan is a package built on compromise, for all sides, for building a modern European state.
The Belgrade sponsored 6 point plan for deployment of EULEX undermines democracy, the government, and the people, of Republic of Kosovo. It also puts in doubt the very existence of our Republic and its Constitution, two very important things for the people of Kosova.
The government and the people of Kosovo have welcomed the idea of an EU Law and Justice mission, EULEX, to be deployed throughout Kosovo with the intention of supporting the Ahtisaari plan but also in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosova.
As the world will see this week, the only power to have a say in our Republic is its people and Constitution.
The Belgrade sponsored 6 point plan for deployment of EULEX is an opportunity for the rest to grasp the reality that is the Republic of Kosovo.

The EU support to the Belgrade 6 points plan seriously questions the credibility and Bona fide of the EU countries that have already recognized the independence of Kosova. One can easily draw conclusion about almost irresponsible fooling around of these countries with the future not only of Kosova’s people but of the region in general. Any justification such as ‘the recognition of independence is the matter of individual state members, and it does not present the stand of the EU as an entity” sounds politically immature, ridicules and hazardous for the stability of the region. By supporting the Belgrade 6 points plan, the EU demonstrates obvious lack of integrity and truthfulness in implementation of its own values and principles that the Kosovars have been preached about all these years of international presence and tutoring in Kosova. Multiethnic society, rights of ethnic groups and minorities, decentralization – most of it rather inconsistent, preposterous and absurd, all of this have been introduced in Kosova’s constitution and its laws. Even something called ‘positive discrimination’, a neologism that has little to do with the principles of fundamental democracy have been tried so far only to please merely 5% of the Kosova’s Serbs who carry on with sabotage and obstruction of Kosova’s statehood. And all of this is not enough to them!?! Any toleration of Serbian pretensions and aspirations over Kosova’s not only territorial and political integrity, such as the indulgence over ‘6 points plan’ is, will seriously question real intentions of international community (the EU state members through the NATO membership being prime members in this millennium venture of the twentieth century Biblical crusade) when year ‘99 NATO intervention took place against Serbian state apparatus and oppression over an entire population in the middle of the Europe. Did it happen so that nine years latter the politics of indulgence and sympathy towards Serbian appetites may take all of us back to the very begging of the story?
