Ghana recognizes Kosovo
The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Mr Behgjet Pacolli, has confirmed for Kosovar media that Republic of Ghana has recognized Kosovo.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has updated the list of official countries recognizing Kosovo and has included Ghana as the 86th UN Member state to recognize Kosovo.
We would like to thank the Ghanian people for extending the hand of friendship and to all involved in securing the recognition from the first independent African state.

It has passed a lot of time when you published that Sao Tome and Principe had recognized Kosovo and until the moment you hasn’t been able to confirm that….so you should have an order….in other pages you can see the confirmation of Sao Tome so please one by one….in order….

Dear Roger, we expect the Sao tome and Principe recognition to be confirmed soon by the MFA. As the process requires that two states exchange Verbal Notes confirming each other the establishment of relations, we will also adhere to the process and only confirm it once the MFA has done so. The list is chronological and is ordered according to the date indicated on the Verbal Note (to our best effort and knowledge). This implies that if the Sao Tome and Principe recognition happened back in 2011, if the date is such on the note, it will be listed in the correct order.

Thank you Zbedan. It seems there is a caching problem with the image. Ghana is on the map but some of our visitors are not seeing the updated map it appears. We will adress this.
